Agenda

Please note, this is subject to change, and speakers will be confirmed shortly. Sessions will be a mixture of live studio streaming and pre-recorded content. Feel free to dip in and out of sessions depending on your specific interests; however we recommend attending the welcome session if possible so that you can get the most out of the day.

Please note that our virtual expo space will be open throughout the two days, and you are welcome to explore this and set up meetings with our startups at any time.
  • EIT Food CEO Andy Zynga will share what’s in store for the next two days. You will also get a brief summary of EIT Food’s entrepreneurship programmes’ 2020 achievements, and be introduced to our virtual event platform so you can make the most of it.
  • After a short live Q&A with Roberta Iley, an expert in Sustainable Agriculture and Aquaculture, we’ll enjoy a series of quickfire pitches from some of our most high-performing startups in this area.

    We are excited to hear 3-minute pitches from: Safetynet Technologies, Deep Planet, Antofénol, Agritask, Crover, Enifer Bio and Trellis.
  • After a short live Q&A with Paul Shapiro, an expert in Alternative Proteins, we’ll enjoy a series of quickfire pitches from some of our most high-performing startups in this area.

    We are excited to hear 3-minute pitches from: Napiferyn, Innovopro, Peace of Meat, Nova Meat, Solar Foods, MyCorena and Ospin.

  • After a short, inspiring introduction from Rudolf Sollacher, an expert in digitalized traceability, enjoy a series of quickfire pitches from some of our most high-performing startups in this area.

    We are excited to hear 3-minute pitches from: SwissDeCode, Scantrust, Agri Marketplace, Pielers, Consentio and Total Ctrl.

  • After a short, inspiring introduction from Rob Beudeker, an expert in targeted nutrition, enjoy a series of quickfire pitches from some of our most high-performing startups in this area.

    We are excited to hear 3-minute pitches from: loewi, Eagle Genomics, Durrow Mills, Epinutra, Probitat, FeJuice and Menu Tech.
  • After a short live Q&A with Philippe Mengal, an expert in Circular Food Systems, we’ll enjoy a series of quickfire pitches from some of our most high-performing startups in this area.

    We are excited to hear 3-minute pitches from: Wasteless, Feltwood, Spoontainable, EntoCube, 3FBio and Vytal.

  • Join us for a recap of highlights from throughout the day, plus hear what’s in store for day 2.
  • With breakout rooms for each of our six focus areas, grab a drink and go and meet some of the other Venture Summit in an informal session designed to replicate a real-life drinks mixer!
  • EIT Food'sDirector of Business Creation Benoit Buntinx will share what’s in store for day two, and take you on a tour of the virtual 3D marketplace to ensure you get the most out of day 2 of the Venture Summit

  • Just like previous year’s Venture Summits, we’ll be presenting the winners of our EIT Food Accelerator Network programme in a virtual prize-giving ceremony.
  • We’ve kept some time aside for you to explore our 3D, walkthrough virtual marketplace where you’ll meet our brightest startups and the Business Creation team. Find out more about EIT Food’s flagship entrepreneurship programmes – Seedbed, EIT Fan and RisingFoodStars – and make connections with leading agrifood startups, investors and corporates.

    Please note that you can access the virtual expo at any time over the two days of the Venture Summit, but we have kept some time free specifically for this purpose.
